Art Genève

Art Genève, the Modern and Contemporary Art Exhibition, 28–31 January 2027, Palexpo

In 2027, Art Genève will deliver an ambitious new edition, bringing together more than 80 galleries specialising in modern and contemporary art. The quality of the selected participants will shape a diverse parcours, driven by the singularity of the approaches and media represented, ranging from painting and video to sculpture and new digital forms. While the fair will continue to assert its place within the calendar of major international events, it will preserve its intimate atmosphere and its unifying ethos: to build bridges, cultivate a living authenticity, and stimulate and nurture relationships on both a national and international scale.

To strengthen its national roots, the Prix Mobilière will reward a young Swiss talent, confirming the fair’s commitment to supporting emerging artists. Institutions, art centres, foundations and museums from Switzerland and abroad will further enrich the panorama, presenting projects specially conceived for Art Genève and expanding the exhibition circuit.

Installations and performances within the Music program will immerse visitors in sound-based works unfolding beyond the fair’s walls. The visit will extend into the art publishers’ quarter, where art books will enter into dialogue with the artworks, as well as through a series of talks designed to shed light on the current issues shaping the contemporary art world.

Founded in 2012, Art Genève quickly established itself as a highlight in the international art calendar and now opens the European art fair calendar during Geneva's winter season.
