Last year we had imagined a video horizon facing a helicopter, producing a very large scale collage effect.
This year, on a similar principle, our hanging is part of a design project developed by par M A&D More Architecture & Design. We have gathered works proposed by the galleries participating in artgenève to play with the notion of module. While the architecture of the show itself is based on a simple system of partitions, straight lines and orthogonal crossings, it tries to make visitors forget about it. We have taken the opposite approach. All the selected works make visible or explicit the modular system of their elaboration.
The exhibition unfolds around the reconstruction of a Jean Prouvé pavilion and its plan reproduced on an identical scale in a strict black and white grid.
